The bedrock of branding

Beachlands local, Melanie Butzbach has created the foundation for natural beauty, with Bedrock by Melanie. A professional range of makeup that is clean, natural, vegan, cruelty free, earth friendly and fragrance free without compromising on the aesthetic or final composition of the product.

She already had a logo in place through another designer, but was stumped on the supporting graphics - HOW to roll this out onto the web and social media in a way that was true to her brand values and core aesthetic.

This is where I developed the brand, inspired by the beautiful and enchanting wilderness of New Zealand. Rocks, moss, flowing rivers, mist, bedrock and glistening flora, using consistent typography, inspired colour palette and considered imagery, patterns and backgrounds. This was then rolled out on POS and social media through one of my bundles, and ultimately into the brand guidelines.
