Cutest muse ever goes to the client's dog Darcy! With a noticeable space in the market for NZ designed and COOL dog apparel, this client (who’s name is inspired by a mash up of her name, a tuneful play on ‘eureka!’ and the zing of spice) has set out to jazz up your dog's life with fresh and exciting designs across quality dog apparel and accessories including harnesses, leads, collars, poo bags, neckerchiefs and more!
The logo is energetic, bounding along its baseline with bold, playful type and a heart paw icon giving the pup seal of approval! Colour palette is, of course, inspired by the spices paprika and turmeric and complimented with some cooler and more masculine tones in army green and blues.
The icon is then developed into 'Prince and Princess' icons to be used in supporting branding, which make up the signature pattern you'll find on the tissue paper!
I had the joy of designing the bold geographic pattern that is being launched on the first run of product, and consulting with the client on a few other funky animal prints, all using Puprika brand colours for that extra cool connection.
