Like popping around to your mate’s for a BBQ. Smokd is a casual smokehouse; wood, iron, street art, rustic American, gritty, fun & iconic.
The logo consists of a bespoke typographic approach tweaking the s to appear like swirling smoke or flames. Steer horn details on the m and k compliment the forms from the S so it all connects, but subtly communicates both heat and meat.
Its gritty texture and elegant form create a gender neutral appeal. Lowercase type is understated but confident and the star, acting like a full stop, is a nod to the all American smokehouse style.
